Job description

The Aerovek  social media manager is responsible for growing audiences on social platforms including Twitter, Instagram/facebook, Youtube, and reddit. Along with maintaining a posting schedule, he or she will also regularly create platform-specific content including text posts, captions, threads, and other copy-related works. They must have a good eye for trends and an understanding of social media metrics.

At a high level, we need someone creative and adaptable to take initiative and be proactive. We are not looking for a designer or a creative developer. We are looking for someone who has a clear understanding of how to build excitement around a brand through social media efforts. The core focus of our social media manager will be to: 

  1. Create a monthly content calendar-  By Scheduling posts and having copy/content written it allows us to execute on our social media strategy, keeps our audience engaged, maintains consistency, and keeps us organized and on track. 
  2. Public Relations: There are an endless amount of crypto, web3, and aviation businesses, projects, individuals (influencers), publications, and journalists that have the same vision as we do and are looking for solid people to grow and collaborate with. We need to find the right people and curate a relationship with them.
  3. Writing Copy- Content is a key component in any marketing strategy, especially when social media is involved. We have dedicated writers but content still needs to be adapted to each social network. For example, a strong social media manager might write Instagram captions with a relaxed and relatable voice, but might write in a more business-oriented voice for facebook
  4. Understanding of Brand Voice - Writing generic posts for all platforms might make your brand seem out of touch, so it's important that we have a social media manager who can maintain a brand voice while still adapting it to different platforms. A great caption or piece of written content that speaks directly to your audience could lead to more engagement.

Job responsibilities


  • Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
  • Working with internal team to develop social media marketing campaigns
  • Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
  • Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
  • Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities 
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Create and implement social media strategies and a content calendar monthly
