1. Definition and Legal Statement
The Aerovek Pilot Ambassador Program (PAP) is an institution of like-minded individuals that are looking to expand the use and access of general aviation. The PAP is designed to bring pilots of all skill levels together to promote and exchange ideas to further develop and evolve the general aviation landscape. Aerovek’s mission is to make private aviation more accessible. One aspect of this mission is to see a peer-to-peer network of pilots cooperating with passengers through Aerovek in need of travel accommodations without the need to book through traditional airlines or booking agencies.
While Aerovek Foundation may request appropriate documentation be provided to be eligible to join the PAP, Aerovek Foundation will not be responsible for determining the validity of such documents, will not be responsible for determining aircraft airworthiness as defined by the pilot’s geographical governing aviation body, nor be responsible for any incidences that may occur during the operation of a flight where a PAP pilot is performing a service.
A PAP pilot shall solely be responsible for abiding by the governing aviation regulatory organization under which operations are conducted. This includes having the appropriate credentials to perform services for hire and ensuring the aircraft used to perform such services meets the airworthiness requirements levied by the governing aviation regulatory organization. The PAP pilot is also responsible for abiding by all rules and regulations put forth by the governing aviation regulatory organization for the type of mission said pilot is performing.
